About Me

I am Queenie, Ming Pun from Hong Kong, and I offer psychotherapy services in three languages: English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese.

My educational background includes a Master's degree in Psychotherapy with Creative Arts from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom. In addition to my master's studies, I also completed professional training in art therapy, further deepening my expertise in integrating creative approaches into psychotherapy.

My academic training provided me with a strong foundation in traditional psychotherapy while also equipping me with the skills to incorporate various creative modalities—such as movement, music, art, play, and drama—into the therapeutic process to support and enhance client well-being.

Furthermore, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and English from Hong Kong Metropolitan University, and I possess substantial experience in instructing English to diverse student populations of varying ages and cultural backgrounds.

I am deeply dedicated to leveraging my strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster profound therapeutic connections with my clients, aiding them in their pursuit of substantial personal growth and self-improvement.

Due to specific Finnish requirements, I am not a VALVIRA approved psychotherapist and therefore am unable to provide KELA reimbursements.

My educational qualifications have been validated by the Finnish board of education Ref no. OPH-4549-2023

My Experience

Throughout my professional journey, I've offered creative arts therapy to diverse individuals with a wide range of needs, including special needs children with conditions like selective mutism, communication difficulties, audism, ADHD, and dyslexia at Tai Po Baptist Church Social Service.

At THE VILLAS CARE HOMES LTD, I expanded my expertise by providing creative arts therapy to adults dealing with disabilities, learning challenges, and mental health issues.

During my role as a Creative Arts Therapist at Lord Street Nursery School, I worked with children facing severe special needs, such as deafness, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, autism, speech issues, and Down syndrome.

I currently practice privately at Blossom Therapy and Education, offering both individual and group therapy sessions, further enriching my professional experience.

My approach revolves around customizing therapy to meet each individual's unique needs, fostering their personal growth and well-being.

My Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic approach integrates both Integrative and Humanistic principles.

Through Integrative therapy, I have the flexibility to carefully select techniques that align with each client's individual needs, thereby ensuring a highly personalized treatment.

Furthermore, I incorporate Humanistic Therapy, prioritizing active listening, empathetic understanding, and the creation of a non-judgmental environment where clients can genuinely explore their inner selves.

This approach is dedicated to providing clients with a uniquely tailored therapeutic journey.
